Barack Obama did a great job in the debate.

For the town hall to have been John McGeritols strong venue, it sure did not look like it from here. Keep in mind though; the town halls that McGeritol is use to are stacked exclusively with Republicans with soft bias questions.

Obama was thoughtful, specific and brilliant; while McGeritol seem bitter and angry.

Can not wait for the final debate.

God bless this great country!

These facts, if proven to be true, show that both candidates aren't to be believed . Neither candidate is worth a damn and will in all probability lead us into a worse financial crisis than we are today. Voters would be wise to vote out ALL incumbents, regardless of Party affiliation and should just try to choose the lesser of the two evils when it comes to choosing the President.

How racism works

What if John McCain were a former president of the Harvard Law Review?
What if Barack Obama finished fifth from the bottom of his graduating class?

What if McCain were still married to the first woman he said 'I do' to?
What if Obama were the candidate who left his first wife after she no longer
measured up to his standards?

What if Michelle Obama were a wife who not only became addicted to pain
killers, but acquired them illegally through her charitable organization?
What if Cindy McCain graduated from Harvard?

What if Obama were a member of the 'Keating 5'?
What if McCain was a charismatic, eloquent speaker?

If these questions reflected reality, do you really believe the election
numbers would be as close as they are?

This is what racism does.

It covers up, rationalizes and minimizes positive qualities in one candidate and emphasizes negative qualities in another when there is a color difference.

Obama was good..As a debater he showed respected, calm demeanor and professionalism, The "other one" looked tired, angry and bitter old man with frustration very evident in his manner.

In the first 30 minutes, McCain was pulling a "Palin" and began diverting every question into a discussion about "energy". I thought it was funny how later in the debate he became smug, telling Brokaw, "I'LL answer your question." Pretty hypocritical. I was watching the instant poll at the bottom of the screen... they started out fairly even. By the end of the debate, Obama had McCain 58 to 42%. As an Independant, I felt the same.

I was a bit disappointed that most of the questions were things that have already been covered, but I would give the overall factor to Obama.

Personally, I'm appalled that McCain is running the same type of campaign that Bush and Rove ran against him in 2000. I liked him then. Not anymore.
